Details : Jharkhand State also affected from this pandemic COVID-19 and number of cases also increasing with each passing day. Hence, role of ULB becomes more critical to provide as well as maintain the provision of basic services to their citizen for sustainability during these lockdown periods. Therefore ULB initiated the process to issues the lockdown passes to some vendors for hassle free supply of basis essential goods and services to the people.ULB also used various social media platform for awareness and provided lockdown passes for PMAY (U) poorer beneficiaries. This type of passes issued to shop keeper/ kirana store, vegetables & fruit seller, medical shop etc.

Outcome : The World Health Organization has declared COVID – 19 as a pandemic disease. The purpose is to interrupt the transmission of the virus through Social distancing, issue of Lockdown passes for minimal movements and Awareness generation among the citizen to break the chain of disease during lockdown period. The output of the initiatives ensuring social distancing, less mobilty, distribution of basic services i.e food/groceries etc to poorer and needy people on time and helping of shop vendors through issue of lockdown passes for ease of maintaining livelihood generation including PMAY (U) beneficiaries during this time period.
