What Initiative Were Taken? : Women SHGs in Kota stitching masks on mission mode: Rajasthan
Details : In view of the increasing requirement for protective gears in the context of COVID-19, 188 Self Help Groups in Kota have engaged themselves in stitching masks for Frontline workers and the public at large, even while maintaining social distancing principles. Till now, these SHGs distributed 62,200 masks, with total sale proceeds of Rs 6.22 lakh. Additionally, the women SHGs in Kota received an order from a private company in Delhi, for stitching 50,000 masks for use by its workers.
