What Initiative Were Taken? : Ensuring safety of vendors amid pandemic: Andhra Pradesh

Details : With the objective of ensuring the safety of vendors as well as customers during current COVID-19 pandemic, on 19th April, 2020, MEPMA officials and field functionaries distributed 14,705 protective masks, free of cost, to the vendors and customers of 107 meat and fish markets in various districts. These masks were made by Self Help Group Women.
