What Initiative Were Taken? : Mask task – Small efforts of Self Help Groups for a big change

Details : Amidst the scarcity of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, total 160 women Self Help Groups of Tripura have risen to take the challenge by producing 96,481 masks to meet the demand.

Outcome : Women’s self-help groups of Tripura have come to the fore as foot soldiers in India's fight against COVID-19 . So far, more than 95,000 masks have been produced by 160 SHGs.
