Details : This initiative has helped the starving urban poor families, night shelter residents, and quarantine patients. The community kitchen initiative to feed urban poor has covered approximately 7000 families mostly in urban areas
Outcome : In Nuh District, 4 Municipal Committees, Red Cross Society, and civil society organizations working closely to combat COVID 19 pandemic. Since March 26, 2020 all municipal committees double sanitized entire wards and other public places. Collectively distributed 1,15,261 food packets until today. This has helped the starving urban poor families, night shelter residents, and quarantine patients.Besides these activities MCs were conducted awareness programs with the help of Civil Society Organizations and Ward Councilors. The collective effort, effective implementation and perennial surveillance substantially blocked the surge of COVID 19 pandemic in Nuh District.
