What Initiative Were Taken? : Awareness on Social Distancing and benefit of strictly obeying Lockdown

Details : As we all are aware that Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is a very infectious disease with no cure found till date. Social Distancing is the ultimate prevention method to reduce the chances of getting infected by this disease. Social distancing by means of strictly following Lockdown mandates and staying at home is very much mandatory to reduce spreading of COVID-19 and minimize the burden of healthcare officials. Shri Rajeev Ranjan, Director,DMA, UD&HD visited PMAY(U) houses at Ranchi Municipal Corporation to aware about lock down and prevention of #COVID19. He also appealed the beneficiaries to download the ArogyaSetuApp .

Outcome : Under the guidance of Mission Director, SLNA, various guidelines and directions have been issued to ULBs. The issue has been addressed widely by all the District Administration, but to ensure awareness on COVID 19 among all PMAY beneficiaries, awareness campaign has already been conducted in all ULBs. In continuation to this, Director, DMA Shri Rajeev Ranjan has spread awareness between PMAY (U) households of Ward-51 in Ranchi, requesting them to stay at home and self isolate from others during this Lockdown period. He also urged people to not to come out of their houses unless very necessary, even person moving out for urgent reasons then he/she should follow the medical guidelines.
