Details : The Community Kitchen is the initiative to ensure everybody is hunger-free during the lockdown. The community kitchens mainly focus to the weaker sections including migrant labourers, homeless people and the destitute. Kerala’s most powerful women self-help is the back bone of the community kitchens. Many of the food packets given free of cost and some meals sell at Rs. 20 per meal. The community kitchen is run by Tanur Municipality with the leadership of Kudumbashree CDS involving women volunteers, municipal councillors, many volunteers from various voluntary organisations etc. The volunteers are cautious about maintaining social distancing and other precautions.

Outcome : The Community Kitchen is the initiative to ensure everybody is hunger-free during the lockdown. The community kitchens mainly focus to the weaker sections including migrant labourers, homeless people and the destitute.
