Details : In order to control the spread of virus, the Oulgaret Municipality assumed the responsibility of stitching cloth mask to the Self Help Groups namely, Vasantham Puratchi Malargal, Vasantham Thamarai and Vasantham Sri Kalavani. So far about 1,37,000 Nos of masks have been prepared and sold to the various Government Departments and Public for lesser Price

Outcome : In this Pandamic suitation, there is a need to protect oneself from the spread of Covid-19 Virus as it can travel in air. So, in order to prevent oneself, our Municipality has taken initiatives to stitch masks by our SHGs and nearly 150000 nos. of masks have been produced and were given to the Govt. officials and to the public.
