What Initiative Were Taken? : Cleaning and disinfection activities
Details : The Thiruvananthapuram Corporation has taken measures to combat Kovid-19 without looking at the boundaries and borders. The areas were sterilized with jet and power sprayers, which could be disinfected with bleaching solution. The city's main office buildings and major locations in the city’s including East Fort, Thampanoor, Palayam,Statue etc. are being disinfected by the city's Emergency Response Team using modern systems such as Jeter. The disaster management team, led by the municipal emergency response team, including the police headquarters and the office of the commissioner, were also involved.
