What Initiative Were Taken? : Provision of special PPE for sanitation workers:
Details : Special procurement of hand sanitizers, soap, mask and gloves was made early in order to
ensure that every sanitation worker has adequate supply of PPE.
Along with this sanitation staff has been given regular instructions with provision of guidelines
and SOPs on conducting disinfection in common public places including offices, door to door
to waste collection and handling of waste.
Outcome : Personal Protective Equipment is essential to ensure the safety of all frontline workers.
