Details : All public places (bus stops, market areas, etc.), identified COVID hotspots – residential areas including societies, containment areas, and quarantined areas are being sanitized through spraying of disinfectant solution regularly. Decontamination of buildings at societies where there are quarantined peoplr have been conducted. Solutions using Bactodex, Sodium Hypochlorite have been provided to all ward offices along with required equipment like mist blower pumps, soap dispensers, etc.

Outcome : Disinfection is essential to slow the spread of the COVID-19 disease. This is because the primary mode of spread is contact with any contaminated surface.
