Nagar Parishad, Phusro.

Outcome : The purpose of the Initiative was to ensure that economic lockdown should not affect people’s kitchen and homes to get depleted of the basic food , we eat and nutrition we get. Coronavirus being particularly harsh on the old and the weak, ‘no food’ would have only meant a much more vulnerable population to disease and morbidity. With the summers approaching and daily wages + water getting scarce, cooked meals came as a boon for the ‘needy’ at the right time. The output has been positively reflected upon the people’s economic as well as physical health; and it also generated some daily wages for the employed people.
