What Initiative Were Taken? : Self-Help Group’s MAHA-DAAN
Details : At this critical time, when everybody is skeptical in stepping out of houses, the
SHGs are performing the day to day waste collection duties, sanitising the
surroundings, manufacturing masks, maintaining social distancing which requires
great commitment and obligation involving high risk and courage, our Self-Help
Group Women (SHG Mahilas’) have taken another valiant effort in donating their
a-day payment to Chief Minister Relief Fund, they are not just performing their
duties but also carrying out an incomparable job.
Outcome : Our SHGs might come from small places but their hearts aren’t small, from such
small livelihood this donation is definitely the biggest donation of our country, they
have proved their worth in this tough time with their commendable duties and their
donations with a big heart, when the world needs the most.
