What Initiative Were Taken? : As per the instructions of the Government of India, for the availability of free food to migrant lab

Details : As per the instructions of the Government of India, for the availability of free food to migrant laborers and homeless persons, the State Government has issued a financial grant of approx Rs. 4 crores so far, as a result of which regular free meals to the workers and homeless persons living in the shelter homes is being made available through the state government and Bhamashahs. To prevent the effects of infection, social distancing & sanitization is being followed strictly in the shelter homes. Outcome : As we all know that Corona is a global epidemic and the whole India is working unitedly to stop it, in this order the state government has locked down all the districts and ULB’s on the call of nationwide lockdown by the Honorable Prime Minister. As per the intention of the Government of India and the State Government during the lock-down, with the perspective of COVID -19 permanent shelter homes made operational for most vulnerable and deprived sections of the society with a view to providing dignified life to the homeless people under DAY-NULM.
