What Initiative Were Taken? : Financial Support to Urban Street Vendors: Uttar Pradesh

Details : To address their vulnerability in the wake of lock-down in view of COVID 19 pandemic, Uttar Pradesh has announced a financial assistance of Rs 1,000 each to the street vendors and urban poor beneficiaries like rickshaw pullers, patridars etc in the state. More than 65,000 street vendors have received the assistance through `direct transfer’ in their bank account.
