What Initiative Were Taken? : SHG network power community kitchens during the lockdown

Details : To ensure availability of food to everyone during the lock-down period, Urban Local Bodies deployed Self Help Groups and their federations for cooking and making food packets by setting up community kitchens.

Outcome : To ensure availability of food to everyone, SHGs have come forward and are leading the community kitchens that are supplying cooked food not only to homeless but also other people that are affected by the COVID 19 crisis.
