What Initiative Were Taken? : Self Help Groups contributing in fight against coronavirus: Mizoram

Details : In the times of distress due to COVID-19, the collective strength of 56 women’s Self Help Groups of Mizoram has come to the fore, who has together contributed an amount of Rs 91,100 to their Local Task Force for distribution of food and essential commodities to support their community during the nationwide lockdown period. Also, SHG women engaged themselves in producing facemasks, delivering essential food supplies and sensitizing people about health & hygiene.
