Session Brief

Public and private sector have been using innovative construction systems and materials for their projects. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) more than 1.5 million houses are being constructed using innovative construction technologies.
The session will deliberate on the innovations being used by the agencies and road blocks being faced. The session will also dwell upon the lessons learnt and pros and cons of innovative technologies being used. How effectively the use of innovative technologies be upscaled will be discussed in the session along with feedback from the agencies regarding these innovative systems.
